Single Hung Windows for Your Home
There are two types of double pane windows: single hung and double hung.
The first type has one sash that operates from the bottom and is typically found on the first-story homes in common areas. Ventilation only comes from the bottom of the window. The second kind has two sashes that operate from the top and the bottom to offer ventilation at either end.
Single-hung frames are typically cheaper and more energy efficient since they have fewer moving parts. While both types are available in multiple styles, materials, and sizes, single-hung windows are generally smaller. This is an excellent option if you have an older home and need to replace the glass window. We can also provide a glass replacement for windows.
Vinyl is the most cost-effective material, while wood is more expensive but is durable and has a classic look. Fiberglass falls somewhere in the middle. All material types are very energy efficient.
